Grab your most cargo-ready bike, Cranksgiving is coming to Lincoln on November 20th, 2021
Race the Leaf and Juju’s Vegan are getting our friends together to gather as much food as possible to make sure that people in our community can have a happy Thanksgiving.
The ride begins and ends at Juju’s and there will be snacks.
You can race or you can just roll and have a nice ride around town while delivering your donations.
Registration starts at 12pm and the race is on at 1pm sharp.
Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part madcap scavenger hunt. All you need is a bicycle and a bag!
This event is FREE, but you’ll need to bring 5-10 food items (or as many as you can fit on your bike) to donate. Donations will support Little Free Food Pantries of LNK. **Plant based items highly encouraged but all food welcomed**
Pedal the streets and trails of your town as you search for the Little Free Pantries to make your donations (lists will be provided but navigation is up to you).
Leave your donation, take a selfie, and get to the next one. You have 1.5 hours to get to as many pantries as possible. The rider who gets to the most pantries within the time limit is the winner and there will be prizes for the top 3 riders. Selfies will be used to verify your route and determine the winner.
Cranksgiving is a national event that occurs in over 100 cities across the United States and Canada. Visit www.cranksgiving.org for more locations.
